Rita is a dish (1 side-dish) served in India, especially with biryani. This is made from buffalo milk. If Curd Milk is hard to find, you can also buy plain yoghurt.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Curd or Plain Yogurt
- 3 – 4 cloves of minced garlic
- About 1 teaspoon of crushed ginger
- About 1 teaspoon of chilli powder
- Salt (to taste)
How to make:
First, you need to take the milk yoghurt and put it in a bowl and spoon it well. (Or whisk.)
Now add some minced garlic, chilli powder and ginger powder to taste, add salt to taste and spoon again / whisk until well combined.
If you want to garnish with a little chilli powder on top when serving.
Important:
You can also add some pepper powder and turmeric powder if you like.
You can also add chopped green vegetables. (Vegetables like cucumbers, potatoes, carrots)
You can also add chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves, chopped onion leaves, chopped mint leaves, chopped parsley and chopped tomatoes.
Raita also adds more fruits like raw mango and ripe pineapple.
