Microsoft has officially announced the next chapter of its operating system, Windows 11, and now is the time for developers and those interested to download and install the latest features. The first preview of this new version of Windows 11 is 22000.51 build, and you can now download it from the Dev channel of the Windows Insider program. However, as the newer version of Windows has increased its hardware requirements, the way in which insiders receive flights depends on their hardware configuration. It depends on whether they are already testers or whether they are new to the program.

If you have already checked the previews here in the Insider program, Microsoft will allow you to continue installing the preview in Windows 11 even if your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements.

If you are new to this internal program, and you intend to include a device in the test program for the first time, the hardware configuration must meet the minimum requirements before you can connect.
The minimum proposed hardware requirements for running Windows 11 are as follows. That is,
- Processor: A system based on two or more chips (SoC) of 64-bit cores faster than 1GHz
- RAM: 4GBG.
- Hard drive: 64GB or larger.
- System firmware: UEFI and secure boot.
- TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Version 2.0.
- Graphics: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later WDDM 2.0 drivers.
- Display: High resolution (720p) larger than 9 inches, showing 8 bits per color channel.
- Additionally, Windows 10 home processing devices will require an Internet connection. This is because this version requires a Microsoft account to complete the setup.
You can use the Microsoft PC Health Check app to find out if your computer meets the minimum requirements.
Open the Microsoft Support Page.
Click the download app link.
Save the app to your device.
Double-click the settings file to install the PC Health Check application.
Check the Licensing Agreement Acceptance Option.
Click the Install button.
Check the app opening option.
Click the Finish button.
Now click the Test button.
Once you have completed the steps, the application will determine if your computer is compatible or which component is blocking the installation.
Windows 11 requires a TPM 2.0 chip and activation. You can use these instructions to determine if a chip exists, and use these instructions to activate it on your computer.

How to get Windows 11 test previews from Windows Update?
If you already have a device included in the Dew Channel of the Windows Insider program, you do not need to change any settings. After the first preview arrives, you can proceed with the installation process of Windows Update as shown below.
If you are connecting to a Windows internal program to test Windows 11 for the first time and your device meets the minimum requirements, use these steps.
Open Settings.
Click Update & Security.
Click on the Windows Insider program.
Quick Tip: If you do not see the feature configuration option, go to Settings> Privacy> Diagnosis and Feedback, check the Alternative Diagnosis Data option, and go back to the “Windows Internal Program” page.
Click the Start button.
Click the Account Link button.
Select your Microsoft account from the list.
Click the Continue button.
Under the “Choose your internal settings” section, select the Dev Channel option.
Click the Confirm button.
Click the Confirm button again to agree to the terms.
Click the Restart button now.
Once you have completed the steps, it should automatically download and install the first preview released by Microsoft.
Installing Windows 11 Internal Preview
Whether you are a new or existing member of the Windows Insider program, you can use the steps below to force the installation manually with this step.
Open Settings.
Click Update & Security.
Click on Windows Update.
Click the Check button for updates.
After you complete the steps, Windows 11 Preview will download and install just like any other preview you have ever installed.
